To Øl is a young Danish craft beer brewery founded in 2010. To Øl brew a wide range of different craft beers; some potent and provocative, others fresh and floral. We brew hoppy, balanced and complex beers both light, dark, strong and simple. We brew the beers we want to drink ourselves and work to brew the best beers in the world. The ambition is to use raw ingredients of the highest quality; never to compromise with taste and balance and to keep pushing the boundaries of great beer-crafting. To Øl entered Ratebeer’s list of Top 100 best breweries in the world in 2012 – and in 2014 To Øl was awarded the world’s 9thbest brewery.
To Øl is is owned by Tore Gynther. Starting out as a home brewing project back in 2005, To Øl has throughout the years expanded to a full-blown contract brewery. To Øl does not own brewing facilities alone but lend in at other breweries with spare capacity. However, should you find yourself in Copenhagen, To Øl’s brewpubBRUSis located in the heart of Nørrebro, streets away from where the first test batches of To Øl were cooked up. Here the BRUS brewers produce a wide range of fresh, rustique, zesty brews served straight from the tanks. Craft beers, tonics & cocktails are produced in the brewhouse accommodating 13 fermentation tanks of 1000 and 2000 liters capacity and 3 bright beer tanks. They are served as fresh as possible from the six 1000 liters bright shining serving tanks in the bar. You’ll find no shorter route from tank to throat! From the canning line at BRUS, you will from Summer 2018 find fresh canned To Øl CPH beers brewed and canned at BRUS.
