Base of Continental Pils, Dark Munich, Special B and Belgian sugar is all you need to let good complex yeast do its job. There's a light touch of Magnum and some soft water then fermented on WLP530, a yeast originally from a somewhat famous Abbey brewery. We’ve also added a healthy addition of dates that would otherwise have found their way into somebody’s dessert, but we much prefer this use.

The result is a body that’s really well balanced with a heady nose of caramels, toffee, dried fruits and a touch of spice with a body that’s balanced but extremely deceptive given its ABV.
