Aged for 18 months in bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill and Jim Beam. Liquorice, spiced/stewed pear on the nose. Pepper, chocolate, and vanilla come through on tasting. Very prominent barrel ageing with clear bourbon character and nice heat on a really smooth roasty imperial stout.
