The Benedictine monastic culture is reaped in agricultural tradition, carried by the monks in the Abbey Majority (Apátsági Majorság). Thanks to their care, every sip of this beer, made with lavender from the herb garden of the Benedictine Abbey of Tihany, is steeped in 1000 years of tradition.

Tihanyi Levendulás Sör is based on a wheat beer. The so-called for cold hopping, the brewer chose a hop with a citrusy, refreshing aroma, which perfectly complements the taste of lavender. After that, lavender growing in the Abbey Major was added in powdered form.
