This is the Foam & Fury recipe that launched a legend. That put Galway Bay on the map in many regards. In the summer of 2014, there were whispers across Europe that Ireland had one of the best DIPA releases this side of the Atlantic. Irish Beer Of The year 2016.
The beer was a stickier, more orange pith version of the recipe we would come to know later. It was dripping in Simcoe built on a darker malt base with plenty of crystal malt, it was a very 2010's DIPA, heavily influenced by some of California's prominent Imperial Ipas
