Together with SOMA – one of Europe’s top-tier breweries when i t comes to modern IPAs and hop-forward beers, we brewed a New England IPA that’s hazy, full-bodied and bursting with aroma and flavour, yet surprisingly easy to drink despite its 7 % ABV. Thanks to its higher original gravity, the beer has a smooth, juicy mouthfeel. Bitterness is pleasant and restrained– just enough to balance out the intense fruitiness. We used a trio of exceptional hops – New Zealand's Riwaka and Motueka, along with the American classic Citra. Riwaka brings bold notes of citrus peel, grapefruit and passion fruit; Motueka adds hints of lime, gooseberry and a gentle herbal layer; and Citra wraps it all up in a juicy wave of mango, tropical fruits and yellow melon.
