Our friendly relationship with Hopfully is no secret - we absolutely love watching the brewery growing and releasing amazing beers ever since they entered the scene. Their focus is on modern craft beers and there is no surprise that teaming up with them to fulfill our hazy IPA needs was the perfect choice.
Following our previous beers last year (It Ain't Easy & Portrait of Perfection), we have decided to go with something that can recreate the summer holiday feeling (as we didn't get a lot of it this year).
Let's have a closer look at the 3.0 collab.
HOW DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
Our NEIPA pours a hazy, straw-gold colour that is typical of the style. The haze gives it a soft and inviting appearance, while the head is creamy and persistent, leaving a lacing on the glass as you savour each sip.
HOW DOES IT SMELL LIKE?
The aroma of our NEIPA is a vibrant bouquet of tropical and citrus fruits. The Nectaron brings forth juicy notes of ripe pineapple, mango, and passion fruit, creating an enticing tropical aroma. Talus contributes a layer of complexity with their pink grapefruit, floral, and subtle pine characteristics. Citra enhances the aroma with their signature intense citrus profile, adding hints of lime, orange, and a touch of floral essence.
HOW DOES IT TASTE LIKE?
On the palate, the Nectaron, Talus, and Citra hops collaborate to create a harmonious blend of flavors. The upfront taste is bursting with juicy fruitiness, where the pineapple and mango from Nectaron combine seamlessly with the zesty grapefruit notes from Talus and the citrus punch from Citra. There's a delicate balance between sweet and bitter, with the bitterness being soft and mellow, allowing the fruit-forward flavors to shine.
